It’s maybe a couple hour drive to the northeast of me, but I haven’t made the trip yet. The whole operation fascinates me. Rolling the clock back to a simpler, more unrefined method of raising livestock. Grass in lieu of grain. Happy cows? They’re in Southwest Georgia, courtesy of Will Harris and his White Oak Pastures operation. It’s been in the family since 1866…or, 150-years. Both numbers are impressive.
